How to Be More Confident and Becoming the Strongest Version of Yourself
7:32 PMBeing confident as in truly being confident doesn't come from extrinsic motivation but rather stemming from a place of intrinsic motivation. This can mean a wide array of tedious things for example, listening to your own music that you enjoy to the other spectrum such as choosing a career path/purpose. Being Asian I believe it is extremely difficult to truly be happy and confident when you have certain traditional mindsets trying to bog you down (sorry Mom and Dad). But I'll elaborate on this in a future post.
Confidence is worked on, not given like a Mushroom in Mario Kart. It takes practice and being mindful of who you are and who you aspire to be. When it comes from a place of genuine intention (i.e. your own), your soul's evolution will somehow align with your external environment. It sounds like crazy mad man talk but that's how it feels like to me. If you're in an environment in which you choose to be in but you're not necessarily comfortable in, there's conflict. It's like your soul is telling you something isn't right. There's bunch of things in your mind, thinking is this the right choice for me or should I be doing something else? This concept is called 'resistance' as Steven Pressfield coined it, but also comes along the territory of confidence. Being able to acknowledge life situations are not aligning with your true intention and something needs to be done.
Once an action is taken place to better your inner consciousness, only then will you feel peace with yourself. Being able to let go, be free, and embodying all life-situations and challenges, letting your soul grow are some examples of being confident but most importantly being the strong version of yourself.
