When the party's over, get up and leave.
1:50 PMYou don't want to be that person who gets their heart broken and goes 10 years in their life being single and writing blog entries about how that person was horrible, in contrast, you don't want to be that person who instead of figuring themselves out, finds comfort in being promiscuous.
Being in a relationship not just dating wise but any relationship including friends, family, etc., they need to be beneficial to you. In other words, make you a better person or make you want to be a better person. What's the point of having any connection with someone where all they do is bring you down to their level? Life's short, time's is money, and the other colloquial phrases go here. That's the beauty of dating, manifestations of what I'd say is self-discovery. Like when Gohan and Goku jump into the hyperbaric chamber, and they come out as if they trained for 10 years but only spent 1 day in the chamber.
Discovering who you are through the good and the bad relationships, is something I'm thankful for. Putting yourself out-there and not being afraid but at the same time learning not to be delusional.
Once the bridge gets to where you need to get in life, you need to turn around and realize that it's gone, and there's only stepping forward, not backwards. Who likes moonwalking through life?
